COUPLES MINISTRY (Marriage & Relationships)

This is a ministry of the church that promotes and teaches God's plan for marriage as revealed in the Scriptures and encourages husbands and wives and others who intend to get married to know and live in accordance with His purpose for marriage. Through counselling and organised seminars designed to instruct as well as address challenges and matters relating to marriage, we equip and enable couples to deal with character issues and choices that undermine godly behaviour, healthy relationships, good communication, true initimacy and proper conflict resolution in marriage.

PARENTING SEMINARS

This involves Bible based counselling, teaching and training sessions designed to equip parents with the skills and strength (grace) needed to fulfil their God-given parental responsibilities. This ministry helps parents, married or single to provide a loving caring home whilst dealing with some of the challenges associated with raising children today.

The seminars help give insight into areas of parenting such as:

> Different parenting styles and their effect on children

> Developing your child's identity and sense of self-worth from a biblical perspective

> Teaching children by your example

> Godly discipline

> Training children to live by godly convictions and not just preferences
